  • One year from the date of purchase. The purchaser, or buyer, at your location should receive a monthly email with a “Download the next topic” reminder.

  • These Line Lead tools are designed to be used for a shift-change meeting. The product provides the Leads, Supervisors, or facilitators with a consistent tool to hold informative 5-minute discussions at the start of each shift, or a 15-30 start-to- finish safety meeting once a week (depending on topic and facilitator).

    Each downloadable packet includes:

    • 1 Lead Notes study – talking points (study these topic guide notes before facilitating discussions)
    • 1 Information Handout, with information, case study & activity (print 1 for each employee)
    • 1 8X10 Reference/Reminder Poster for the topic (hang this on the wall in a visible location)

See our “How to…” and “Facilitating made simple…” videos; available on the 53 Weeks of Safety page to view best practices.

  • For your situation, a longer, once-a- week session of about 30 minutes may work better than a daily 5-minute session. As with a daily 5-minute presentation, we suggest you review the topic in advance, gather any needed visual aids/materials, and make any needed preparations for the Activity session.

  • Each topic-specific Poster provides an attention-getting reminder of the week’s topic. We suggest printing and posting it on a bulletin board, or any place where participants will see it every day. Display the new Poster each week to add interest and support focus on that week’s topic.

  • The Lead Notes document is included as a guide for the line lead or supervisor facilitator to gain additional topic information, suggested answers, and talking points. These notes provide a starting place for active conversations to motivate and enhance learning as the Handout is reviewed.

  • The OSHA References are meant to point you to official regulations, alerts, interpretations, or related standards and information that may provide more resources for safe practice and compliance.

  • For more information about Compatible Offerings, visit Workforce Development and Training page at www.Polytron.com, or speak with a Business Development or Workforce Development and Training
representative at 678.328.2999 We will be happy to discuss the best approach for meeting your needs.

  • Answers, suggested answers, and talking points for exercises in Case Study and Activity sections are found in the Lead Notes document, Specific to Topic section. Many questions are designed to have participants apply concepts to their specific role/environment. For these, use information in the Topic Handout and the Lead Notes documents to guide discussion and focus on understanding concepts.

  • No, your company’s standards, policies, and procedures should always take precedence over the informational guidance provided in the Discovery section, or in any other section of a topic. They are a guideline to aid discussions.

  • Series topics are updated on an immediate, as-needed basis. Be sure to download a topic the day before your group discussion to be sure to have the most recent content. To ensure alignment with current OSHA regulations, alerts and interpretations, all safety topics receive a bi-yearly review.
